Barry West.
At the age of 14 Barry entered himself into a talent competition whilst on holiday with his family. With his first place certificate, he was approached by two buisnessmen, who offered their management, and also by a local band called Second Edition, who thought he would be the perfect frontman. Barry chose to join Second Edition. He stayed with the band for twelve months completing some 100 plus shows all over the North West.
Carrying on his music career, Barry co-founded a pop duo, called Two's Company. After gaining another valuable ten months experience they began to work the North West pro circuit, completing over 100 shows. Barry continued to attract other bands and was asked to join the Band "The Markers" and completed well over 150 shows, including supporting other Bands like, "The Searchers", "The Walker Brothers", "The Honeycombs" and many many more!
BARRY WEST (solo); Throughout the next three years, he began to write and develop cabaret and humour into his show, thus creating his master of ceremonies routine. Whilst performing at various venues Barry found enough freetime to pursue his writing career and recorded and penned his first song in full with Sam Reid. Sam Reid has worked with many household names including Eric Clapton.
The Barry West show has become a self contained one man show. Having now developed a unique reputation throughout the North West, he began to attract numerous agents that work the very popular cabaret circuit i.e Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the coastline seasonal venues etc. He continued to work the circuit performing and supporting acts including, Big Fun and Richard O'Brien (Rocky Horror Picture Show)

Starting to write and perform his own self penned songs, Barry got together with long time friend and Song Writer, Kieran Jones and formed the Band "Only Ghosts" who released one Album.
Today Barry has chosen to go completely solo and now, with the superb writing skills of Kieran Jones he has released his first
solo Album "Changing Faces". Continuing to work together, both Barry And Kieran are now working on the next Album! Watch this space!
